About Volunteering

OPIRG Toronto is a volunteer-driven organization. The majority of our projects are initiated and sustained autonomously by volunteers, and it is their commitment and contributions that determine what OPIRG Toronto works on. Volunteers are full participants in consensus-based goal-setting and decision-making, have access to the office space and its resources, and participate in a forum for learning and sharing a number of skills related to community organizing and direct action.

You need no prior experience to volunteer. Simply come by to the OPIRG office (Room 318, UTSU Student Commons, 230 College Street) and say hello!
